MMmmmh! Have got "Deutche Welle TV" on whilst browsing the web. It seems that all our European neighbours have signed an agreement to share DNA information and car + driver details amongst each other.

Interesting developement in the light of our ID cards controversy Eh?

Whatever else, it should knacker the French vote on Sunday! (he says hopefully).

Isn't the French 'Non' vote gaining, 7 or 8 percentage points clear by now? They're making all sorts of disgruntled noises over there like "you can vote and vote until you get it right" or "we will ignore the vote and ratify anwyay" but no worries, if the French don't scupper it the Dutch will, and if neither of them do, we will. Le chat sera parmi les pigeons d'une certaine facon n'est-ce pas? When les grenouilles realised their beloved federal europe gravytrain was about to be derailed, I reckon they got themselves a Plan B cooked up...

Worrying trend here. After our recent general election we heard senior nu labia folk discussing openly in the media what strategies (i.e. electoral manipulation) could be used to stop the Tories 'sneaking in' next time. If the people of this country want nu labia they get nu labia (sadly) ditto if they want Drac's successor. It really does make you realise how low and unworthy these people are when politicians see their role as defeating democracy, rather than upholding it.

Back on topic ... there seems to be a trend for BiB to undertake as little investigation as possible in pursuing potential offences, since this might make it clear an arrest wouldn't be justified. Next step is to look at how a 'lowly' offence could be made arrestable e.g. commom assault upgraded to ABH. Then, with somebody in custody for an arrestable offence, they take mugshots, prints and a DNA sample. When the almost inevitable happens, and the "suspect" is released as a result of baseless allegations or whatever, they are entitled to have their mugshot removed from files BUT the prints and DNA remain.

This seems to be purely to build up a national DNA database as quickly as possible regardless of any law establishing one. Criminalise as many people as possible and arrest the rest anyway. Now with EU backing it will roll on and on - over everyone. Of course "The innocent have nothing to fear"

The nation state has far less control over innocent people, so it's in control freaks' interest to criminalise as many people as possible no matter how trivial the offence. "Denying criminals the use of the roads".
