Are they the Fuzz?

In over 20 years of driving, I can recall only one (non temporary) 30 mph zone which seemed inappropriate for its surroundings. Whatever the arguments about speed on motorways and open roads (and, yes, I do sometimes drive faster than posted limits on such roads), why go over 30 in a 30 zone?

Doh! Just been through a manned speed-trap in a 30 zone. Two people in yellow jackets with the initials C.S.W. on them. Not sure if they are the Police or not? They were stood at the side of the road with a speed gun and big L.E.D. readout display thingy.
what was the alleged speed the sign said, which was obviously totally inaccurate? :PLecture not necessary - speed limits are arbitrary and only reflect the agenda pushed by 'those-in-power'.
My opinion is firmly set now after having to bow to fluctuating red 50 and 60 LED discs on an empty M6 around Birmingham the other night. Why?
Oh and even better doing 60-odd through a 60 one only for it to change down to 50 as I'm passing it!
Stupid controlling st

That'll be the nudge button They used to have them in petrol service stations when you'd done your best to put in £5.00 and as youre putting back the nozzle it goes to £5.01
