If the absolutely astounding characters, settings and story-telling quality of the first 3 games returns, I will be very happy indeed.

Nope, they are leaving the Milky Way and its setting (places, lore, races, history) behind.

I'm not sure what it will be, but I do not see how it is Mass Effect.

If you look closely you can see the last bit of consistent lore of that series being shot.

I kick myself for having never played the Mass Effect series as I know I'd love it.

I'll absolutely be on this though!

I'd love to travel the stars listening to Johnny Cash, maybe pew pew some aliens too. Can't say all the ME games up to this point have been better than each previous one in the series as the last one became a bit of an effort to finish (not because it was bad, just felt dragged out iirc) but look forward to seeing how it lives up to the series.

Buy them. Buy them now! (or wait for a decent deal).

Whilst not perfect, they really are fantastic games. I'm really not an RPG fan, but this gets it just right.

Oh Yes. And Alien Side Boob.

Bioware are closing their official forums and want to rely on twitter or facebook instead.

Absolutely bonkers decision.

Looks pretty I guess. Shame they have gone for the male with the marketing again, but ho hum twas ever was.

I'm just not that excited about it, I still think it will struggle when compared to Femshep.

Femshep was always the better of the two, I felt her voice acting was much more engaging. This time it seems that no matter which one you pick the other will be around to play a key role. And EA being EA they've announced 2 collector's editions with a scale/RC model - that don't include the actual game!

Wasn't just the voice acting for me, but also the chance to not have a Chiselly McChisel face as the protagonist.

There's something satisfying about saving the galaxy as an arse kicking female space marine. It still is a fairly unusual occurrence.

And if you played Renegade, she was a proper hard nosed bh!

Can't wait for this. It's going to suck my life dry.

Plus the LesShep scenes were more satisfying

And being a complete bh to everyone in a renegade playthrough was great as well
