Looking to buy a Series X not on the pass deal that is offered. As I have live already and doing the one pound upgrade. Can't see any available anywhere, I guess no idea when they will be available for pre-order again?
I dont think there will be another one now, probably best to check places on launch day I would assume they would have physical stock somewhere

If you are anywhere near London I reckon the MS Store would be a good bet

I thought all the MS stores were closing permanently?
Oh I don't know, I'd assumed not as it's a massive flagship store but maybe

We use our Xbox one for media as well as games - Sky Go in particular. Has anyone seen anything from Sky about apps on Series X yet?
I hadn't considered that I also use Sky Go on the One

Can't imagine them dropping it as what's the point
Its more than when new devices come out Sky are frankly awful at getting them up to date/working

I may have to run them both for a bit as I need Sky for footy

I have series x with gamepass subscription being delivered on Tuesday. Are there any absolute must have launch title games not on gamepass? Or will there be plenty on gamepass to not worry about buying anything else?
Depends on what you have played recently I guess, I've currently got Forza Horizon 4 and Batman that I'm playing on GP

Gears 5 will be downloaded on new console when it comes and I've ordered AC Valhalla

Awesome thanks!
No worries

I'd recommend Forza Horizon 4 it'll look amazing on the Series X

Gears of War are decent shooters, maybe start from 4

Batman Arkham Asylum is good fun

The only game I've 'bought' so far for the series X is Assassins Creed Valhalla

Oh and install the GamePass app then you can sit on your sofa, find a game and send it to the console to install, it's lovely

I don't think it's the biggest issue personally, when my PS4 controller ran out I had to plug it in, when my Xbox runs out I swap batteries, same amount of effort really

Gah, so many updates and such slow broadband mad

The XBSX doesn’t fit where my XB1X used to sit and now all my cables are on show. eek

My newish tv doesn’t support 120fps games, but not a huge disappointment.

But at least it’s here and working cool

Nice, looks nice Horizontal too

Did your TV/Series X tell you about the 120fps?

I think it looks fine on its side, there’s virtually no warm air coming out of the side, it’s super quiet.

120fps, yes when I went into the tv settings -

Good to hear smile

Ahh cool will check when it gets here

I did wonder about that, I put in 4 of these cables but I can’t see if 120 is supported -

Was there an HDMI in the box? If so worth a test if you can get to a port?

The fact they highlight 60Hz on that ad makes me wonder

If I'm brutally honest I can't see the point of it at the minute.
Paying £450 for quicker loading times and no exclusive games.

Network transfer is a bit st sadly. It caps at 90mbs and crashes my router taking the broadband down with it. Probably my cheap tp link router if anyone else has had success using it?
I am but its all queued behind Valhalla at the moment
