Like many other S's my voltmeter had a mind of it's own. Let no-one say it was without personality, and throughout the short time we were together we experienced highs and lows (usually when the indicators were on). My little friend may have not been very reliable, but it was always keen to join in the fun in an up and down kind of way.

So it is with sadness that I must report the passing of my accuracy challenged little guage, for when I started the car this afternoon it was totally flaccid, the needle remained pointing at the floor and no amount of flicking and tapping could provoke any sign of life.

Does anyone have any suggestion as to how I might re-incarnate my little friend? Is it fixable? Replaceable? Worth the effort?

Can you reveal where to buy a gauge? I would probably want to replace it...
