Was wondering about BTaP, 26/27th Novermber you say. Ok, will the wallet/hangover be cured by the 3rd/4th???

That could be a good date actually, any earlier than BTaP and it may be a bit soon for peoples diaries, any later and Christmas parties etc may get in the way.

Right is Saturday 17th too close to Christmas for everyone, although the roads should be empty with everyone shopping?

Can you post youre prefered dates 3rd, 10th or 17th in order, by the end of this week, otherwise I'll make an executive decision.

I was planning just the Sat, but I'm game for an extension!!! I guess it depends on how many say yay or nay. For the last one we had about 8 cars on the Saturday, then three went in convoy out to Snowdon on the Sunday.

Ok the 17th it is then.

Hands up all those who want to have a (sensible) blast round North Wales (EVO triangle etc) and meal just before Christmas? If the weather is bad it will be more meal than blast, if it's good it will be more blast than meal.

Copy and paste the list and add your name!

Emma, Dug, you have each others phone numbers, I imagine eachothers emails, chuffing well use them to sort out your bickering, not on a thread that is totally unrelated. Please have the courtesy to delete your irrelevant posts on this thread.
Your both grown adults please dont use PH as a 5yo's playground.

No, Emma has deleted her post. If you want to have a moan about things get your own FKING thread and quit hijacking where the only connection to the middle east is that were going for a drive in a differnt country, (although my Canadian grandparents did once ask if they needed to bring their passports to visit Wales...)

Discretion is the better part of valour, use some once in a while. Kindly delete your posts or I'll ask a mod to do for for you. That done; all this ranting will be deleted, and all this will be forgotten about.

I dont remember, the point is its gone now, kindly do the same.

I wish i could see things from your point of view but i cant get my head far enough my own arse. Why you should choose to turn a thread about a driving and food into a personal discussion on foreign policy I dont know. Isnt the pie and piston where such discussion takes place? I have no issue with the points either of you were making, I'm sure they are very valid in both of you minds, however there is a time an a place for such opinions, and it isn't here.

If you wish to talk about the drive on 17th December around the EVO triangle then please type away, otherwise go play on the monkey bars or the swinging tyres

I have nothing further to say on the matter, if you wish to continue it will be met with the silence and contempt it deserves.

What's this EVO triangle Iain?

Bit like the Bermuda triangle, but in Wales and involving cars, you can go missing in there for days on end before you're eventually found with an almighty grin on your face...

Its where Evo magazine do alot of their testing.

I migh be interested in coming along for this run, which would be my first Piston Heads Run.

(It might be a bit weather dependent with Yoko 48's because they are rubbish if there is standing water)

Anyone been on one before? What is the state of peoples driving like? I don't mind quick drivers, but I hate bad or dangerous drivers.

In my experiance of group driving, not just PHers, worry about your own driving and everything comes good, if you see someone infront about to overtake round a blind corner or the like, back off give yourself plenty of escape options etc. Of those coming I know, everyone is a 'safe' driver on the road with cool heads.

Hope you can make it.

Right I've done some planning. The day should unfold something like this (times to be arranged)

Meet M6 Jct16, drive A-roads to Evo Triangle (here www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=294400&y=353960&z=5&sv=294400,353960&st=4&ar=Y&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf&dn=553&ax=294400&ay=353960 ) have lunch at The Sportsman's Arms, continue around Triangle, find some more nice roads to travel east again in the afternoon.

Regards
Iain
