A couple of quick questions, as I am downgrading my fun car ... changing from BMW 850 to a G32. Clearly no comparison in any meaningful area, but the G32 gives me some change to spend on a few improvements:
- Its a 1.6. I have read about the possible upgrades and would NOT go for a turbo. Is the 1.9 the one to go for, and is it relatively straightforward ? I won't be doing jobs that major myself. It doesn't need a new engine - this would just be for performance reasons.
- Paint jobs. Any GRP specialists in Essex / Suffolk area ? The company that did my old Scimitar is no longer around. No body damage, but new paint required. On that point, a google image search produces simple single colour cars. Was there ever anything a little racier ? If possible, sticking to the original 'style' sounds sensible. No fixed ideas, but something a little more eyecatching would be good.
