My Chimaera 500 had a brand new gearbox fitted at 5000 miles when 5th gear decide to stop working all together.
My 'new' gearbox now apparently needs a new 5th gear synchro as it 'graunches' every time 5th is selected. Are these Borg Warner T5 boxes really this unreliable or am I just unlucky?
I'm thinking of going to the dark side, selling up and buying an M3 or Lancer EVO VII .... Please remind me why I shouldn't!
