Help finding replacement brake master cylinder
Discussion
Hi all,
I have a 1984 VW Polo coupe that is currently undergoing restoration, it was fitted with a brake servo kit that was designed by a company called BRM motorsport, I was always lead to believe this was based on metro parts but I'm struggling to find a replacement master cylinder so wondering if anyone can help.
I know that the brake reservoir is metro as I had to find another one from a scrap yard but as for the servo and master cylinder I have no idea... the part number stamped on it is Q71 LB06BZ043AD, a google search has come up with nothing!
Its a pretty cool bit of kit in the polo world haha, I had a small fire so the seals died so its possible it can just be rebuilt perhaps? if it helps I can add pictures, but from googling images I'm starting to think it may be a Ford part.... could be anything!
If anyone is interested in my little polo i'll start a build thread or something, his name is Bluey and had him for 17 years so he's a bit special :-) been off the road for 5 years though so I'm desperate to have him back now.
thanks a lot
