Do you use these to fully dry a car instead of a cloth?, or just to finish off ?
It depends, if your car's really well protected eg. ceramic coated or similar, then you can sheet 99% of the water off and just use the dryer to blow off the remaining 1%, clear the nooks and crannies, wheels and tyres etc.

If you still have a fair bit of water on the car then it's probably easier to microfibre as much as you can first.

It's swings and roundabouts, I actually found that trying to dry solely with the blower (my car currently only has a basic sealent coating) was taking a while and starting to reuslt in water streaks when trying to dry in warm weather.

The Metrovac I use is quite powerful but it's a directed flow of air, so perfect for blasting gaps and crevices but on large surfaces it tends to move the water around rather than quickly clearing it.

Just nooks, crannies and wheels for me. Even with my powerful bigboi the car still needs hand drying.
