Which type and brand of detailing brush?

So I've been looking at detailing brushes recently as I'm building up my kit to give the car a full day of some love, but something that sounds simple has actually been quite overwhelming! The types, the sizes, the brands...

What's the safest type of hair to be safe on the paintwork, but good enough to get the dirt out? or should I go for the rubbery bristles?or am I really overthinking this? And any decent brands to look out for or would almost anything off Amazon be just about fine?
