First ride of the year...

Done my usual run for the first (ok, second but I got a flat). I was 10% slower to my slowest time last year, I'm blaming the wind.
But, I just cant get in a good position. Saddle seems either too high or to low, so I'm either not stretching my knees enough or my inner thighs hurt too much. It seems the lower I go the quicker I get.
I'm determined to do alot more cycling this year, got the missus a bike so that'll mean we can use it as something to do rather than me just finding time.
I am a fair weather rider, its the wind that annoys me the most, but to try and keep some muscle I got a turbo trainer. I used it a fair bit from Christmas to end of Feb, but March has seen a never ending cold, so I've not bothered. Alas, I've lost some muscle.
