to steer than its rival(the new M3)."

Full quote:
"Here’s the really odd bit though: for once Audi has managed to produce a car that’s more satisfying to steer than its rival. To be honest, no M3 since the E30, and I include the CSL in that, has steered as well as it might. This new car suffers the same problem, not being positive enough in those first few degrees of movement. At 2.3 turns between locks it’s not slow and it does respond immediately, but the Audi’s weighting just off centre gives you far more confidence."

From this article: CAR MAGAZINE: RS4CAB VS M3 where CAR has tested an RS4 Cab and a new M3. Strange comparison indeed-they based on the fact that they both have two doors....

Some nice videos on there.that V8 sounds awesome and looks better in motion but can this steering thing really be true! The balance of the world will be horribly upset.

Maybe they just making it for a bit of controversy because the M3 is just so dammned good eh?

Not just a quattro car but a cabriolet quattro at that!!! Find it hard to believe myself. Is CAR magazine known for talking dribble?

Yes. You will see it in the next edition of EVO published in just over a weeks time.

I had the job of driving the RS4 the near 2000 miles down to Marbella, but thankfully (for me) Rog (Green) got the job of driving her back,
Great....I trust the piece will be allot better than the CAR article...

So you didn't fancy driving the RS4 back then..is that because you were just tired or don't like it?

Tough life eh, trying to squeeze in all that driving of horribly fast cars on race tracks and Spanish roads. I know you get this offer allot but whenever you need help I'm about....I'm based in Athens now though so will be happy to be your guide on the next launch you will have to do over here!

PS: I believe BMW launched the new X5 here but I dobt we will have any performance car launches here due to the lack of racetracks. Some of the mountain roads here a superb for the likes of the M3, RS4 et al with stunning scenery indeed.

True indeed Dunk. I can just picture the scene-launch of the new M3 CAB at Clackett lane services with the rain pissing down the moment anyone touches the switch for the hood!

The thing is Spain has some decent race tracks to with the roads hence you having more launches there than here. Over here in Greece there really isn't anything suitable-the race tracks we have here are just plain crap and limited so for that reason I think we see launches of things like X5'S and cabrio models but nothing very performance oriented.
