Um - i dont think NK leadership will be signing their own death warrants any time soon.

I will lay my mortgage that nothing over and above the current dick swinging, happens in the next 5 years.

Everyone is doing what they normally do - playing to the crowd.
Problem being tho, he's making threats about sending nuke's into the USA but currently can't ( but thats not 100% clear ) , i doubt very much anyone's going to leave them alone for years so they then have that option.... Imagine this nutcase having fully capable ICBM's that could reach the UK. Scary indeed and as predicted when the first Nuclear tests worked, at some point the wrong person will get hold of these weapons.... and it seems thats happened.

Either way war is coming.

Why must i have to imagine this ? Its not going to be possible any time soon. Why factor it into my prediction ?

Things are definately hotting up. Seems that it wont take much for it to go postal. The fat boys been mouthing off and is now running out of threats, hes been told to go fk himself so far, which points to a new test of will.

Would be great if this situation could be defused in some way, but fear it wont take much to kick something serious off.

If he reads pistonheads, were all done for, especially the photoshop thread.

The best thing would be that China gets involved, hes pretty much surrounded and offers him a lifeline to surrender..with a bullet and some western shandy bass.

I love how pretty much every last inch of NK is covered on Google earth in remarkably high resolution. I wonder if that is all part of the infowar to help stoke up their paranoia a bit?

Having a nose around down-town Pyongyang and I came accress some really useful reviews for their theatre:

Good info for both tourists and invaders alike.

It's on China to deal with this, time for them to step up and justify their place on the UN security council I think...

Who is the Prime Minister of China anyway.

Smiler.

Up until they shut the industrial complex I was sure they were just bluffing as they usually do whenever the US/SK defense exercises are run. However it has been said a number of times that the shutting of that complex is a sign of something happening. Its one of their largest incomes is it not? So they wouldn't shut it unless they actually planned to do something.

We should take them very seriously!

how do they get that many medals when the last war that took place ended in 1953, meaning they would be 80+ years old if they indeed get them in active combat.

.
.I wouldn't be surprised if China just gives him enough rope to hang himself, while in the shadows, Chinas elite are waiting to pounce.

I would imagine for one minute that Chinadoes not (infact I know) have the similare to the SAS, or SEAL or Ranger divisions.

It's just that China plays her cards very close to her chest, and its the "not knowing" that makes you wonder what they do have.

China is feeling embarreased about NK, and I China doesn't want to stop the food and energy program, which supply NK, as it's seen as a humanitarian act.
China want's the world to seethat she is above all this "tittle tattle" but when NK starts to cause concern to Beijing, then wo'betide, there could be a big st storm heading NK way, and it could all be over before any one knows.

oh, and by the way, there is almost no mention of it in Chinese news or TV.
When I asked my wife if she had seen any thing in the Chinese news, internet ect, she replied that there was nothing to worry about, NK are just being mouthy, NK don't have any thing, and what little they do have, China will take it off them when they are sleeping, and they will know nothing about it.

There are huge amounts of missile of defence systems all along the border, in Japan and in Hawaii. Still a risk though (if a very, very small one) of one getting through.

Well the US reckon by 2016 they will be capable, maybe sooner. They have a 3 stage rocket system thats works ( the hardest part ) just need a smallish Nuke to bolt onto it and job done.

China seem to be amassing troops and weapons at a rather fast pace in the North.

We'll see.
