I'll be honest Robbie, I have no interest in engaging with you as you're a great example of someone who argues in bad faith.
You have no interest in discussion, you just want to browbeat anyone who doesn't agree with you.

Forget about me. For anyone reading - should Isla Brayson, in your opinion, have gone to a male or female prison?

That famous Scottish case recently. What prison should Isla Brayson have gone to? Male or female?
I personally think it's a fool's errand to even suggest some random bloke on the street would know the answer to this question, if we assume the primary aim of the prison service is to "minimise the risk of harm for all concerned". And that's part of the problem. Female prisoners can be, and IIRC have been in recent years, incarcerated in male-only prisons because they're deemed too much of a threat to other women. HM-2 said:

The answer is that each prisoner should be assessed to determine the risk they present to other prisoners, and the risk other prisoners present to them.
Simple answers please only simpletons.

And 'Barbie Kardashian' is in a female prison in Ireland.
A 21 year old born male who threatened to rape her mother saying “I would bring a screwdriver to insert inside her genitalia because I am a woman and women rape using objects; it would definitely be a long, protracted incident, I would want her to bleed out after death after a number of hours, by putting objects into her vagina, pouring boiling water into that area".
She is segregated from the other women at the moment - but she's obviously not going to be in solitary confinement for ever.
So someone born male telling people they are going to specifically torture women in their vaginas - but they identify as female.
Once solitary is over - men's prison? Or is that transphobic?
This is why is so dangerous. These are real life incidents yet you want to just bury your head and apply your idealic agenda.
These aren't bizarre hypothetical situations.
A young New Zealand female weightlifter who has been training all their life couldn't go to the Olympics because a middle aged big bloke who is stronger than her (because he was born male) transitioned, immediately became one of the best female weightlifters in that county overnight (despite being 20 years older than the average competitor in that field) and was allowed to take her spot.

Prisoners who pose a risk to fellow inmates must be treated accordingly.
There are sadly many examples of prisoners who are kept in 'special' circumstances away from other prisoners because of the risk they present to others, or the risk others present to them.
Charles Bronson is one example thats been in the news recently as someone who has not been allowed to mix freely with general population.
I'm not sure why you think these cases are particuarly difficult for the prison service to deal with, would you enlighten me?

Why do you think Bryson was diverted to a female prison mid-transit after originally being assigned to a male prison, following orders from senior management at the Scottish Prison service?
...Exactly. I don't know what Robbie thinks he's contributing here?Rivenink said:

Can you explain that please? I don't understand why they would be transferred to a female prison mid-transit, unless the senior management had some sort of political (or other) agenda.. Rivenink said:

Agreed, and if the best facilities (i.e. solitary confinement facilities) are available at a male prison, then I see no issue with women (either born or trans) being housed there. The nature of solitary means they will not see or interact with any other prisoner of any gender. RobbieTheTruth said:

So here I say in 1 casse yep mens prison in another you need to assess the risks and whats best of all parties. Barbie K might best be served in a womens prison in Seg or a male prison in Seg the authorities need to decide.
I think the Weightlifting body got it wrong with Hubbard but its past now

Can you explain that please? I don't understand why they would be transferred to a female prison mid-transit, unless the senior management had some sort of political (or other) agenda.. According to this article: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-64796926
"A review into the case was ordered by Justice Secretary Keith Brown and its key findings were made public earlier this month, although the full report was not published on grounds it contained personal information.
It showed that the Scottish Prison Service had made the decision to divert Bryson to Cornton Vale women's prison in Stirling, rather than the planned destination of HMP Barlinnie in Glasgow, while the offender was in transit.
Two days later, senior management decided "due to the level of risk and remaining uncertainties" to move the inmate to a male prison, HMP Edinburgh."

...Exactly. I don't know what Robbie thinks he's contributing here? Two people born male who are extremely dangerous to women have been sent to women's prison because they say they are female.
A middle aged bloke took a female spot at Olympics, because they were stronger (because they were male) and immediately became one of the best 'females' in the world in a field where they were nearly 20 years over average age.

"I will continue to repeat the same appeal to emotion whilst conveniently ignoring the facts of both cases and asserting I'm better placed to assess whether someone is dangerous to women than the prison service". RobbieTheTruth said:

great filmthere must be concensus on this issue surely somewhere that does not go so far as saying "Oi you in the wrong toilet" or the other way "yes of course you are a non biney pixie nurodivergent pix with a colour gender" (I made that up based on a insta real I saw where someone did make a similar claim about being a women while having stubble like Jason Statham and claming to be a furry at same time)
So to start the concensus:
The prison service got it right with Isla Bryson, they followed protocol and made the correct judement while safegaurding other prisoners and the indvidual.

Interesting.
In a debate such as this - not one of you are brave enough you think it's a correct decision to allow people born male to compete against women in strength and combat sport.

Come back when you can contribute something relevant and worth reading, eh?

When they sent them to a female prison? Or when they changed their mind and sent them to a male prison?
Dis Sturgeon get it right when she said Bryson isn't a woman and is 'almost certainly faking it'? Or did she get it right when she continuously described Bryson a female after that?
Was Humza Yousaf right when he admitted he thinks Bryson is not a genuine woman? Or were the people who reported him to the police for a hate crime right?
Pure examples of the left eating the left. Sturgeon and Yousaf are absolute advocates for this kind of stuff - and in the end admitted this guy isn't a woman, which caused other lefties to call the police!

1) the incarcerated them
2) based on their claim they initially put them in Seg in a womens prison
3) based on further evidence they challenged their claim
4) they found Bryson was not truly trans
5) they moved them to a male facility
6) post this event they reviwed their polocies
No one was harmed
my only criticisum is someone in Cornton Vale who might have needed a place in Seg might have been deniend becaue of this but that is a assumption with no evidence
