You can wait as long a you like, you can assume what you like, but you'll probably be wrong. Again.However, I'd be surprised if anyone genuinely believes that Farage is popular amongst senior EU officials and that they wouldn't want to discipline him if he crossed the line.

As I posted earlier is the Guardian only posting about right wing people who broke the rules in the story, or has it only been anti-EU people investigated? Farage should get everything thrown at him, but it does seem like there was bias if it was only anti-EU people who got done.
