Can you explain how with no majority and Labour and the LD voting against he could posibibly do that?
Simple and it has been raised before, he could (were it not for the fixed term nonsense) have called an election with the right to vote in a referendum on the EU as the main platform, if the opposition and or the LD failed to call the referendum forward, the problem is he has no spine (or really doesn't want it). The current elites seem to eschew the idea of giving the people a say, it might have headed off all their UKIP issues (I would suggest it would have done).Instead this parliament is dying the death of a thousand cuts and it is (as we have just seen) pretty much paralysed, its a ridiculous state of affairs imho.
Kill it off now and take it to the electorate imho.

And MPs seem to have voted down the public right of recall. They still don't get it. More armoury for UKIP.
No surprises in that whatsoever, good to see the data out there supporting what some of us have been saying for a long time.And MPs seem to have voted down the public right of recall. They still don't get it. More armoury for UKIP.
This is part of the reason that UKIP are resilient to the stupid insults levied at them. it also shows how pathetic some of the strategies utilised by some on here have been.
The level of dissatisfaction is deep seated extensive and widespread, the Main 3 parties acolytes do themselves nor their parties, any favours by adopting the fingers in the ears lalalala approach.

t could have something to do with the fact that in 2010 the Tories thought that dealing with the economic mess that Brown had left was the priority.
Ha. Was that in between the important issues of gay marriage and some celebs phones were hacked. As for gay marriage, Farage now thinks it's a good thing. Didn't you get the memo?

It's funny how you pick up on two minor things, one of which had very little to do with this government, when we have the highest growth of the OECD countries. We have far too much debt, but at least our economy is heading in the right direction.

I couldn't care less but why he is now only banging the drums on the EU and immigration with 6 months to go to an election while haemorrhaging supporters. A pantomime of futility..As for gay marriage, Farage now thinks it's a good thing. Didn't you get the memo?

It looks as though the present day translation is that he'll pay the EU on behalf of pimps, hookers and drug dealers, but only after thumping a lectern or table or two. Sap.

Interesting, but the bits about UKIP are quite close to the typical baseless waffle. I've never heard anyone in UKIP say they want us to all look the same etc, just nonsense.
Some of the part about why he won't be voting UKIP has been around the houses and deal with agreed. But he isn't saying that UKIP wants everyone to look the same, but he is pointing out some inconsistencies in their stance.Some are due to trying to appeal to a broad church and, dependent upon the reader's bias, then these will always seem inconsistent. Nevertheless there are some things that are difficult to reconcile, as is the case with all parties. Miliband, it's Monday let's bear down on immigration, it's Thursday, uncontrolled immigration is better than sliced bread and anyone who says otherwise is racist. Cameron, well where do you start with a broken reed blowing in the wind.

So in 2010 in the middle of a major economic crisis CMD should have call an election based on his demand for an in/out referendum on the EU. A referendum very few people where bother about. He would then have
a) Won a majority.
b) Lost and Labour and LD from a new coalition.
My guess is b since people hate being asked to vote on something which is not that important to them.
You may want a vote now, I want a vote we can win because if we lose a referendum now, it will be our only change ever to leave.

The Tower of London poppies are fake, trite and inward-looking â“ a Ukip-style memorial.
How in gods name is nearly a Million poppies a UKIP style memorial?
IIRC he was equally disparaging about the bomber command memorial, why would we in the UK memorialise the German war dead from the great war, that is a matter for the Germans, even though he misses entirely the German involvement in the Service at Westminster Abbey incidentally (which was lauded by most who saw it).
To denigrate the poppies at the tower as being a UKIP style item, is pretty pathetic imho.

Yet more evidence that the political classes just don't get it.
Ms Harriet Harperson turned up for PMQs today wearing a T-Shirt which proclaimed;
"This is what a feminist looks like,"
Three points on this;
1.) As this was written in spindly handwriting on t-shirt it meant you had to stare at her tits to read it. Which kind of defeats the object I would have thought?
2.) Instead of concentrating on making sure her leader asked valid and thoughtful questions to the prime minister she thought it would be best to undermine the authority of the house with a cheap publicity stunt done to draw attention to something we already know about her. (and every time she opens her mouth she reminds us of.)
3.) Until both her and her party condemns the abuse of 1400 girls in Rotherham how can see possibly she herself as feminist? Wrong type of victim I suppose.
But don't worry her constituents can join her in this important campaign, the shirts are available for only £45.00......

That's about spot on.http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-London/2014/10/...
But no more than many of us who are ridiculed on here and have been for a long time have been saying. Perhaps it because of one simple thing, observation and listening. Get out and see and talk with people and you will understand what is going on. It's happening across the board, even here in CMD town, so I say to you now if it's happening in the glorious leader's backyard, gawd knows how bad it is in areas I've not visited!
If this keeps on, the single seat in the Commons might become a joke in itself on the morning after the 7th May with a very different headline on the front pages than anyone could have faintly imagined, even us Kippers!

It would only defeat the object if someone looked at her tits in a sexual manner, which I am sure we will agree, is very unlikely.Ms Harriet Harperson turned up for PMQs today wearing a T-Shirt which proclaimed;

As a wonk have to go on the data, and the data says basically what I and Guam have been predicting all along, seat numbers as previously posted.
And yet, purely anecdotally, never before have I had so many out of the blue conversations with people who fully intend to vote UKIP. All umprompted, they've no idea afaik what I do or what my interests are, as I say repeat unprompted,
Ranging from a plasterer, a bloke doing some coppicing and hedging, to a woman on the common (quite fit really, no pics, keeping it PH consistent) who after the sort of chat two strangers hold whilst their dogs range around and generally sniff each others nether regions suddenly launched into, yes UKIP. WTF, where did that suddenly come from?
Which in a roundabout way makes me wonder if there is some under-reporting of voting intention in the polls. Are the pollsters reaching these people? I asked each of them and they'd never been polled on or off-line. Because of the general bile driven agenda, are some people not publicly declaring VI for UKIP? But if people are being put off declaring VI why would you suddenly bare all to a stranger? Then again, if it's an anonymous online poll and that were your voting intention, why wouldn't you say?

Nope and I'm in my 30s, I also asked my mum the other night actually and she said not all in her life either. out of interest, has anybody on here ever been canvassed by a pollster?
I have, and just put so on the other thread (which at the moment shows just 20 per cent as being polled).
It was recently too. Now I'm not one to walk around in a T-shirt Vote UKIP, probably because many think I'm still Tory. However, in chit chat and conversation I don't hold back and re this pollster, the conversation went dead after it was obvious of my voting intention. Which I thought strange and could only conclude the poll was an agenda one.
