The GOP have at least 357 sitting Republican legislators in battleground states who have used the power of their office to discredit or try to overturn the 2020 election.

That's 44% of the Republicans in the 9 states where the election was most narrowly decided. No wonder trump wants to try to have state electors decided not the voters, he/the GOP can't win democratically

This is big. Zuckerberg is being sued by D.C. Attorney General Karl A. Racine for the Cambridge Analytica scandal, saying that Zuckerberg directly participated in decisions that enabled the Trump-allied political consultancy Cambridge Analytica to siphon the personal data of millions of users.

Every now and then I pop into this discussion and see loads of updates and legal demands for information that then has a tug of war in a court and then ronde and repeat.

Is anything ever going to happen? It just feels like they’re hoping he dies soon so they can all say how close they were to a prosecution without ever getting there.

Obstruction and witnss tampering have long been a tool in trumps legal battles, so there have been delays all the way
The public hearings next month where everything will be laid out I think.

The GOP are opposing anything coming out because many participated, or enabled trumps coup attempt, with all the others turning a blind eye despite knowing what was going on, or validated it afterwards. As such thy need to completely lay out the planning, the actions, the sheer depth of criminality of trump, team trump and GOP members, so that when the indictments come the frequently repeated claims of a political witchhunt have absolutely no basis.

Lets not forget there are 5 teams of investigators who have been tasked and will present.

The gold team have focused on trump’s attempts to steal the election, the planning, the organisation, who did what. That includes the faked electors

The red team have focused on the Stop the steal rally's, the gathering of trumps maga mob distraction and the ones prior to 6 Jan to gt the message out to "be there it will be wild".

The purple team has specifically investigated the various maga militia groups, the contacts with team trump, Stones part in organising them and probably the control rooms at the Willard hotel and all the meetings, (and those that were filmed as they wanted their great triumph recorded)

The blue team investigated the Government response to the insurrection, the obstructions put in place for the National guard not to respond, the planning before to limit the Capitol Police, and the actions of the GOP afterwards as they denied and attempted to whitewash trumps actions.

Finally there's the green team who have been following the money trail, with trump always follow the money trail, who paid (because he won't have), where the money came from. We already know of GOP members who paid to bus in maga mob members, that maga militia had rooms tc paid for where they stashed weapons.

I also think there's more to come about Ginni Thoma and Judge Thomas.

One of the emails she sent pushing for States to overturn results and declare trump king was to Arizona state legislator Shawnna Bolick, the wife of Clint Bolick, Associate Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court, who Judge Thomas id Godfather to one of their sons.
The email where she asked “Please reflect on the awesome authority granted to you by our Constitution. And then please take action to ensure that a clean slate of Electors is chosen for our state.”

A couple of months later Shawna Bolick authored a bill that would give the Arizona legislature the power to throw out election results, exactly what Ginni Thomas had asked her to do. That bill was defeated in committee, but Shawna Bolick is now running for Secretary of State in Arizona, where she would oversee elections.

This attempt by trump, Eastman etc isn't over. The GOP will try to use this again to ignore voters and declare who they want to win.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg told the judge handling the case involving trump's family business that he should move forward. He's also ready to file felony charges against former trump organization chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg. This was in a 129-page court filing on yesterday.

Weisselberg is trying to claim that this was all instigated by Cohen as revenge against him, but that was quickly struck down. The claim that Cohen sparked this Investigation as part of a vendetta resulting from Weisselberg’s immunized testimony is incorrect, the Investigation that led to this Indictment, and the information used to obtain that Indictment, are the result of sources completely independent of Cohen.

She used her campaign money to fund a trip to MagaLago to attend trumps screening of 2000 mules, the documentary on the debunked and baseless claims of widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election, but also bought 40 tickets for it.
