Was just wondering if we should have a weekly bet on who can pick the closest time before some idiot brings up the £350 million NHS bullst?

I'm going for 15 minutes in for next week show.
God almighty, this really boils my piss. The bust said £350 million a week "Lets fund our NHS instead"

Now to me, that implies the NHS will get a wedge of the spare £350 mill. Some, part, a chunk, a wedge or a chunk of that £350 milion.

Nowhere, and I mean NOWHERE did it imply the full £350 million a week would go to the NHS otherwise the bus would have said "Lets give it to the NHS instead".

But nope. It said "fund" the NHS./ Not give the whole lot to the NHS.

Yet it's being peddled as a lie, or propaganda or something. That aside, it fits in to the much wider plot to create instability and division. Makes it easier for Labour to instigate a coup and sieze power a la banana republic.
It was a suggestion as well, not even a pledge, like all remoaners like to label it.
You lot ought to stop to think for a moment that other people will often see things differently from you - it is perfectly possible to infer from the bus that there would be £350m extra for the NHS each week. That is a plain and simple interpretation - wrong I agree (the £350m figure was a weaselly deception to start with, and life is usually more complex than what is painted on a bus) - but is entirely what the leavers wanted voters to believe, that there'd be buckets of cash extra - and the fact it was so vague gives the leavers the power to deny it afterwards while having worked very hard on getting as many people as possible to believe it were true
You're right... there were dodgy promises, ropey inferences and flat out lies from both sides; and 350 mil was one of the above.

On a lighter note - and forgive me if this has been posted before but I find it a hoot...

I don't mind debates with people have utterly opposing views to myself and no matter what they will not change that view nor influence mine. However just shouty over someone when having a debate isn't a debate it's very high aggression - take that to a pub with some beers and that would quickly end in potential confrontation.

Generally it is the BNP EDL SNP (some) Militant socialist worker and from what I've seen so far a good % of Corbinistas.

I don't ever recall John Major fans May fans Cameron fans IDS fans Thatcher fans howard fans (too young to remember any more) being all super aggressive and shouty.
Why is this?

It's odd how those who make the most aggressive noise somehow tries to brand the Conservstives the nasty party .... strange one

AHEM!

No need to infer anything! Shame it boils your piss BIANCO but you cant the idea defend it like you want to. The bus may not have said it exactly but lots of other things did. You were done up like a kipper (wow what a coincidential pun! laugh)

He also did it in a way that made him look a bit thick. He was asked what the bullst lies of the Daily Mail were and cited the normal remainer big red bus/350m figure, without really thinking the DM is just reporting a Leave campaign slogan, rather than it being a unique story by them.

Not sure how he could create a party overnight and get enough candidates to try to win 326 seats...

No I mean join a party who meets his political leaning (I honestly cannot tell which way he is but I'd wager Socialist / Lib Dem).
Macron??

Edit to add Bugger beaten to it!!!

I love how the Remoaners churn out the £350m figure, as if you wouldn't sell out your democratic processes for £150m or £200m .. "oh it's only £200m - think i'll just cower to the EUSSR then" .. the same lack of thinking from those who voted for Corbyn because he was promising free stuff. :-(

People don't get it do they.

It's political top trumps - all that matters is how you see the future. Do you want to be able to control your boarders create change and abolish any laws we have.

We have a population crisis people who live in remote areas in the U.K. Clearly don't see that but when you do cannot get a school place cannot get a dr appointment cannot get a dentist cannot afford house prices. Noticing that the British culture is being diluted.

Not able to kick out Abu Hamza due to "human rights". EU laws allowing U.K. Prisoners the right to vote - erm no they don't have the right to vote until out of jail. Human rights.

We don't want French spainish and Portugease fishermen taking our fish stock - especially when if we try to go to their waters they react extremely aggressively.

Look how they treated a country in dire need of help (Greece) destroyed any possible recovery. It's all well and good saying they spent it they pay for it but we're talking about generations of children who were not even born at the time.

Youth unemployment at dangerous levels where they will have a Day of anger

Funny how the re-moaners don't paste up all the dire predictions and financial reports that were complete fabrications as project fear.

£350million, it was an example of taking control, not an exact promise.

If you look at what the EU is planning in the near future, the UK's contribution would have only gone through the roof anyway - had we stayed in.

The EU has an immense expansion in spending planned, it will just grow and grow and waste and waste, until everyone is bankrupt except Germany.

I'm not a remainer... and I completely agree hat both sides were full of st ! The point of the post above is that Wiccan and Cobnapint claimed that there was no real statement made; that £350 mil would / could go to the NHS... when there clearly was. It's great to be able to see things for what they are... some people here as more blinkered than remoaners... and it's funny to watch!

And has also been shown several times how the BBC manages to interview the same person on different shows/programmes and feck all gets done about it.

Yup a post was made that was proved to be erroneous.

Poster just needs to take it on the chin and move on. We've all made mistakes in posts.
