...Mr Brady knows where the child is, he is a very mentally able manipulator who is playing a long game. It's not like he has anything else to do while he sits in his prison all day, It is a big case and still "almost 50 years later" attracts huge media attention. The areas the children were buried in were recognised as being close to one another and close to the road. This is not a search of the whole of Saddleworth moor, just a better modern going over of areas that both Hindley and Brady led the Police to previously...
Nothing is "known".

If the authorities "knew", do you really think he'd have been left up there?

Maybe Brady can remember. Maybe he can't. Maybe Keith is up there, maybe he's not. But it is totally unreasonable to expect public resources to be used on a task that in all likelihood will turn up nothing (again) despite great effort and expense until more precise details are known.

People have looked several times and found nothing. And your faith in modern technology in a situation like this is misplaced. It'd be more fruitful to use modern advances in torture to get the details out of Brady. But that isn't going to happen either.

It's very, very easy to throw comments out from the safety of knowing you will have to do nothing with them.

The situation is tragic. Throwing ever more resources at it to still find nothing doesn't make it less tragic, it makes it more so.

Thanks for sharing that link; despite my interest in the "moors murders" I'd never seen it before. Very interesting and insightful smile .
