it's like trying to choose which end of a turd to pick up but the firmer end of the log is the Tories. UKIP and the LibDems are second fiddle, just chatter but dangerous chatter.
Remind us again why voting for turds is such a stellar plan, I'm not really clear on it.If you want to get away from the punch and judy show that is uk politics then playing pong with ping isnt quite going to cut the mustard.
Youre concentrating on the economics of voting for sleazebag A over sleazebag B but 5 years down the road youll be back to playing one off against the other and the cycle continues with the public being piggy in the middle of the same sick game.
No, I wont support that bullshyte anylonger, its gone on long enough, things have got to change and that can only happen by us freeing ourselves from the decomposing corpse of the EU first so we're able to make our own decisions.
Thats never going to happen with any of the parlimantary piggies when we're constantly giving them the keys to the cookie cupboard.

I haven't suggested anyone on this thread hates immigrants. I suggest people who dislike immigrants are attracted to UKIP. The better people are doing in their lives, the less they feel the need to dislike things that become peripheral in their lives (such as the EU and immigrants). In other words, the number of people moved to vote for UKIPs headline policies is bound to reduce as their personal fortunes improve.
look at the 'kippers gains in Boston for example nowt to do with 'darkies' unless you count Portugese as 'darkies' but even then their numbers have been overtaken by 'accession state' nationals ...
the 'kippers like Salmond are delusional that the British will be able to continue to emigrate and refuse to integrate if we leave the EU but somehow all the accession state nationals will have to leave , but 'old EU' nationals can stay as they are either in higher paid jobs or run restaurants ( not 'tuk us jerbs' in lower paid entry level roles in industry - the principle reason these work places end up with large numbers of accession state nationals is the poor attitude of the L'Oreal generation towards actually doing the work not to mention the way in which many organisations recruit at entry level now via 12 / 26 / 52 weeks as agency before offering a company contract ...

I'm not voting for a guy but for a party.
I've not accused anyone of not getting it either. In fact, the exact opposite, I have stated time and again that I don't get UKIP and asked questions to which no one seems able to answer.
On the matter of the EU the only party with any ability to offer the British people a say are the Tories. No one has been able to explain just how UKIP which is really just a one man party could deliver. At the same time no one can explain just what it is they are doing in Europe.
If you really believe that Dave Cameron will offer you a referendum on EU membership, then you're a little bit "special".I've not accused anyone of not getting it either. He told us this before, and some people were stupid enough to believe it.
I'm a bit gobsmacked that anybody would be stupid enough to fall for the same ste twice.

No I think most agree the fact that it was brought to the fore as a possibility and is now a topic for discussion with the electorate is the achievement, no one can forecast the outcome of that as of yet. Yes CMD made his half arsed commitment, whether he ultimately delivers is being rightly questioned (even by his own back benchers) if he does follow through, then its a significant win, if he doesn't there will likely be an implosion of conservative support, therefore from NF's perspective another win (as they will likely defect to UKIP).
Any detached observer would view that as an achievement in political terms.
Believers have the same view of God. If things turn out one way; God's will. The other way; he moves in mysterious ways, but always beyond reproach. There is no possible scenario in which you'll admit that NF palpable achievement amounts to grand total of FA. That is untenable position to take in reasoned debate. It's quite common position to take when your core belief is based on worship of deity.Any detached observer would view that as an achievement in political terms.
Because of the above, you are not qualified to state what detached observer would view. Blinkers would have to come off and you would have to regain, if you ever had them, your critical faculties first. Quoting what someone else says and following them with smiley doesn't count.
Praise the Lord.

As for my having blinkers with regards to NF, sorry not even close. Like it or not, for a party not in power, they have moved the debate forward on some key issues, even the other parties begrudgingly admit to that, so the current political elites seem to share my view of what has been achieved (otherwise why did Clegg debate with him).
I worship no one, unlike it appears Blair and Now Cameron, if you are comfortable with Bible thumpers dictating political policy, then good luck to you, I will stick with a secularist none federalist view

I'm sure he can agree that at the mention of the word 'immigrants' the first words that sprang to your mind last night were 'darkies' and 'Sikhs', which rather illustrates the true nature of your opinions.Guam said:

- Are there any circumstances in which you'll consider the possibility that NF didn't achieve anything tangible? If yes; which ones. If not; as above your position is untenable.
- NF has been MEP for 15 years (since 1999). Fifteen years of milking the gravy train that he wants to dismantle. In my books, not achieving your stated aim for 15 years (and counting) can hardly be quantified as success. Do you think that 'moving the debate forward on some key issues' (correction one issue; membership of EU), can be viewed as a success?
