Particular chuckles from

"British people think the European court of human rights is all about making sure that Ian Brady can get Netflix or marmalade or something"

"Someone who has a face like a gammon travel iron"

"We can see the mileage Boris Johnson has got out of playing the fairly simple character of a sort of pissed-up dandelion"

Second sentence of article says... said:
The Conservatives actually campaigned on a manifesto pledge to get rid of human rights and people voted for it
Is that humour?

Well, it is Boyle.

If getting rid of the human rights act (spit) means the grauniad (double spit) goes down the tubes one or the other then ill be happy.

Not quite but you need to be extremely opinionated and use big words in the hope people think you're clever

Nonsense. You need to be right wing, blindingly arrogant and thick as mince.

Interesting article from a man who based an entire stage show on the concept of Michael Jackson's Children's Hospital.

The most worrying, and significant I think, quote is: “For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'.”

Yep, that came out of Cameron's mouth. A remarkable statement, especially as it came from someone who proposed the eradication of the HRA in this country.

Yes he did, in the context of Islamic extremists and hate preachers. As well you know. Suppoerter of them are you?

As for the HRA, we can make our own laws, we do not need it.

I like Frankie Boyle. As a comedian. He's also quite an incisive wit at times, but a bit like Russell Brand, fires well short of actually making much sense past adding interesting words and comedic descriptions to a basic leftie agenda..

From that point of view, despite trying to use humour / satire to invoke a genuine point, he's just taking the p**s out of Tories, and we've kind of seen it all before..

Typical lefty know all. Slither off under a rock 12 year old greasy manifestation of idiocy.
