I think what he has actually managed to achieve still remains very uncertain, it's going to be sometime before we can start writing any history books on him.
Personally I think he is a vile little man who has played on peoples fears.
Sounds just like David Cameron.Personally I think he is a vile little man who has played on peoples fears.
(or was that Alistair Campbell who said that ? I can never remember )

Why the hell should he cease being a MEP until we are out? We need the MEPS to be there for intelligence gathering if nothing else.
hahahahaha. Intelligence gathering by Farage? I'm sure every MEP is just dying to tell him the latest juicy secret. It' not that he told them that they are bunch of lazy never had a real job nothings. kippers, can't help themselves

His legacy will slowly unfold overtime. But as a committed Remainian I think his legacy will be the downfall of the worlds 5th largest economy. I certainly don't see UK climbing to 4th or 3rd place as a result of our exit. But it ain't all about money anyway, we can all live the 'Good Life' with our sovereignty intact.......
So which of the European economies will have overtaken us?jjlynn27 said:
Rightio,
Tusk and Co are just going to do the briefing of their latest evil plans with all EFDD MEPs and by proxy Farage and Co.
hahaha.
He'll end up in Chez Leon as he always does, boring everyone who'll listen.
Intelligence gathering, so funny.

Wow, any need to be quite so aggressive?
Of course you're entitled to your opinions, as are everyone else, but for me Farage has been nothing short of brilliant dealing with the EU over the past 17 years and he's achieved more in that time than anyone else that I can think of.
If anyone has experience dealing with these EU bods it's him and he should be heavily involved now, when Farage speaks, people listen.
He rarely turned up to do a day's work. He's a disgrace and no better than the people he claimed to be campaigning against.Of course you're entitled to your opinions, as are everyone else, but for me Farage has been nothing short of brilliant dealing with the EU over the past 17 years and he's achieved more in that time than anyone else that I can think of.

Even now, he's refusing to give up his seat - mostly because he's on a nice little earner with a nice pension to come when he does.
Hypocrite of the highest order.
He is proud to be a cuckoo in the nest, why would he go to meetings and other nonsense to waffle on about subsidies for Estonian hippo farmers when he can continue to undermine them???
and yes, why not sit it out and take his due, i would?
Serious question, can you name one other politician who has dedicated their entire career to a single aim that has actually been instrumental in pulling it off? I can't!!!
That said, i do recognise his limitations, his mouth does run away with him sometimes. You need a very different type of person to doggedly pursue a single agenda for so long, those personality traits do not necessarily gel with the consensus building that will be necessary during the negotiations. To that end, he is probably best out of the picture during that process.

No, it's the fact that the country was taken in by a charlatan whose entire reason for being was to promote his own hate-filled brand of politics.
He has taken from the pot for 17 years, whilst doing nothing productive, other than to disrupt.
He's created a divided society, where being openly racist is now seemingly acceptable and brought us to a position of political chaos and instability.
You have to be very foolish indeed to be one of his merry band of blinkered supporters.

This post highlights the fact that we Leavers are happy to watch the Remainers in action. And yet, the Remainiacs have consistently shown that they cannot click a link if they think that they might see something that they don't like... even if it comes from one of their own.
Rather than Remainers & Leavers, we are all patriots now. smn159 said:

Were these two would-be assassins arrested and charged?Article said:
At least two would-be attackers were caught trying to smuggle knives into campaign rallies attended by UKIP leader Nigel Farage before he stood down, it has been revealed.
It is also claimed that a surge in death threats against Mr. Farage and his family contributed to him stepping down as the leader of UKIP.
