So May just scrapes in on Friday with a majority of 8 seats, resigns as PM straight away and announces a leadership election.

Who's yer money on to step up to the plate?

I'm gong for backstabber, clever boy, Borris slayer, Gove.

He's got a job to finish amd nobody else would actually dare to go for PM at the start of the Eurodancing fiasco that's about to get underway.

Gove has already demonstrated the necessary kill instinct that we require at present.

He's also bloody clever, which May certainly isn't.

Davis is looking old these days.

Osborne is too bitter 'n twisted.

Rudd is about to get dumped whatever happens on Friday.

Hammond too wet.

That isn't what would happen.
I'm not so sure.

She looks like she's about to cry every time she's challenged in any way.

I don't think she will stay without a majority large enough to stop the sniping within the party.

It's also not clear whether or not she will be able to lead a negotiating team for Brexit.

Events dear boy, events.

Everything pointing strongly to the Party having to act together to keep May in place until they see how she copes with Brexit negotiations.

Corbyn will continue with his big eyed sad face and play the denied saviour, to shore up his place in the Liebour party and wiv the kids.

Grove will make his move when it's time.

Boris knows that he couldn't hack the PM post and will never try.

Far better to play the best PM we never had role than the next worst to May PM.

I'm off to do the Euromillions now.

If Gove fecks up this golden opportunity, then we will end up with PM Farage in power with a huge majority after a quick and dirty emergency election in October.

Brexit would be achieved, but who knows what would follow?

If Gove gets in as PM (and he will) then we will end up with May's deal getting through, but probably not in October..

Boris knows that he doesn't have what it takes to be a successful PM and will bow out soon.

I don't think he has actually declared that he is running anyway has he?

BJ is in for a mauling the minute he gets off his new bird and enters the ring, IYSWIM.

I'll be watching the TV debates for the entertainment value.

Wonder what 'goodies' will be on the green room table.

Wow - talk about not being able to organise a piss up in a brewery.

After all that vote 'lending' BJ still only manages to see off the only real challenger by 2 votes.

Next 3 years is going to be amusing / tragic in equal measure.

What an ass (but we knew that).

Hopefully the BJ will withdraw from the race tomorrow and let Gove thrash it out with Michael, sorry Jeremy.

Mike on BBC news at the Manchester hustings atm.

He's giving the exact, word for word, speech that he gave at the Birmingham hustings which Sky showed live a few days ago.

Is BJ doing a groundhog day presentation as well?

Just looks lazy from Mike.

Maybe he didn't think anyone would notice.

Don't rate either of them and BJ will bottle badly when the EU push him towards a no deal deadline.

Big mistake by the MPs to stop Gove.

Big mistake.

It's a long way down for BJ if he doesn't deliver.

Equally - it's going to be very interesting if he does..............

AN has achieved so far;

Showing Mike to be irrelevant (which we already knew).

Making BJ cross.

Having a good go at screwing up our 'special' relationship with the USA by getting BJ to insult Trump.

Splendid (not).

I think Andrew Neil is doing exactly what he's paid to do.

And doing it well.

Boris looks shambolic.

Whoda thought it.
As long as the BBC takes responsibility for its actions that's fine.

But it won't.

It's more interested in boosting its revenue and reputation.

Boris is taking it quite well.

Imagine a scenario of imminent war with Iran, with very delicate negotiations going on behind the scene to potentially save millions of lives.

But Boris has been seen in a restaurant with an unknown woman.

How would AN (and other hacks) tailor that interview?

Think about that.

Should Andrew Neil be going easy on him? confused

Will other journalists?

Will Trump?

If Boris can't cope with some simple questions from Andrew Neil how will he handle real pressure?
Journalists have an agenda.

By following that agenda they can do significant damage if they don't take care.

I don't want to get into a protracted discussion about journalists in the modern era.

I like AN but sometimes he lets his emotions get in the way.

I prefer the old school method - Robin Day for example.

He knew how far to go with a line of questioning and never let his own views or personality get in the way of doing his job.
