Just to clarify, Quidco doesn't so much charge you £5, it just takes the first £5 a year in cashback that you earn.

Been using it a while now and, having just moved home, have a lot of cashback in the pipeline for things like Sky and Broadband (from O2)

There's no catch . . . occasionally a retailer might decline a payment but overall in't a win situation for us. You pay the same price for the goods as you normally would but get some cash back later on.

Some insurance products won't pay out until you have had the policy for the entire term, travel insurance does this for example.

In total I've had over £1100 from Quidco just for buying what I was going to buy anyway. Don't get tempted into buying from some of the crap retailers just because they offer cash back and a better retailer doesn't - there's still no substitute for a good retailer.

I used quidco for a few purchases over the years.

I don't think they are worth using if your purchases are infrequent/small value as your 'savings' will be eaten up by annual fee.

I've used topcashback since January and earned just over £30 on a few small deals. Just waiting for my phone contract to end so I get a new deal and earn cashback, SIM only deals pay the most.

Timely bumping. FWIW I used TopCashBack for the first time as I've just joined O2. It's not yet available, but within a couple of days of signing up there was/is £100 tracking on my account - I look forward to seeing if it's claimable soon!
