Quick one for the PH massive, need to get some fuses for an old fusebox, however nobody seems to know whether any compliant fuse packs can still be purchased..

anybody got any ideas?

There's a place on the Sheepbridge Trading Estate at the bottom of the Dronfield bypass that stock old electrical stuff, the names a blank at the moment though.

Has it ever crossed your mind to update the consumer unit and perhaps a rewire. Wouldn't like to power that up and sleep at night.

The wiring going into those fuse holders looks like it's got heat shrink over it, a repair for damaged insulation I would expect, put your money towards upgrading that a that consumer unit at the very least, your insurers ask what condition your property is in when you renew, that to me does not look like a 'good' standard. If any thing happens caused by an electrical fault, you may not get a full pay out!

Is that not a 3 phase board? The heat shrink being used to identify the red phase? The labels suggest that those fuses are feeding other distribution boards.

Post a picture face on, I'm pretty sure I can get them, they still have them on the railway.

wicked majorproblem i'll get another pic on tomorrow

The supply is a 3 phase so it distributes to other boards, I have no issue changing the consumer unit - I just need to get full power in this building as soon as pos, if the quickest route is changing to a new unit or its required to get a safety cert then it shall be done

They look like red spot bolted tag fuses to me, should be available from any decent wholesaler like Edmonsons or the like.
