Esse Solo heater

As per title: has anyone got/seen/played with one of these?

We're looking for something quick and easy to replace the portable stove-style calor heater currently in the living room as it stinks the house out when used.

Judging by previous experience, a warm orange glow will be enough to make the other half feel happier (whereas I, being male, will just go and put a jumper on if chilly....); actual heat may be required from time to time though and we're wondering just how quickly this thing heats a room.

I've got one of these for the conservatory, must of had it for 10 years. Good quality and throws out enough heat when needed. Bloody heavy though.
