We are looking to get a cordless vacuum, so I’m canvassing the PH massive for recommendations.
Ideally around the £300 or less price point.

Thanks

Recently got one of these Vax Blade ones. All very good except for (dog) hair getting wrapped around the roller

My recommendation would be this

https://sharkclean.co.uk/product/shark-anti-hair-w...

After a few Dysons and their unreliable batteries, went for this and really pleased with it.

We have 2 Dyson and 2 Shark which cover upstairs and downstairs with older models relegated to garage and DIY duties.

I always use vacuums in full power boost mode.

The Dyson battery is pants and is fixed but it is a more compact unit with better suction and the suction is fast to build up.

The Shark battery goes for ages and is swappable but the battery probably goes for ages because the suction power is much less and is slow to build up.

I prefer the Dyson.

We've got a Shark cordless, and while it's good for light duties it will never replace a proper plugged in vacuum.

anything but a die soon Dyson. utter garbage. about four times more expensive than they should be for what you get.

We have both corded and cordless Sharks. The corded is used when we want to give multiple room carpets a really good clean in one go, and the cordless for when we might just want to quickly go over a single room.

Think when you suddenly find out someone is on their way over to your house, and you want to give the kitchen or living room a quick going over, the cordless is ideal for speed, what with not having to unwind, plug in, unplug and then wind back up the cable etc.

Depends what you want, whole house or using for ‘spot’ cleaning?

Were about to move from a Shark cordless (which was quite good in reality) back to a corded vacuum as we need more oomph on the carpets (small child and dog)

Having had a Shark, wouldn't go there again - Samsung Jet 75 is better in every way

We've got a Dyson Dc34 animal from circa 2013. Had a few batteries and have had to recently buy a new charger but it still works fine. Will never replace a main/ big hoover though.

Our main hoover is a Shark and it's absolutely shocking. Will be going back to a corded Dyson ball when we can! On that basis I wouldn't recommend anything by Shark.

Vax ONEPWR Blade 4.
Brilliant, comes with two batteries and each one lasts twice as long as the Dyson it replaced.
Paid £150 for it with discount.
