Do you want your room cleaning daily?
Discussion
Bathroom cleaned every day, toiletries refreshed, new towels etc. Happy with clean bedding every other day, but bins emptied and general tidying up to the same condition when I first went in. Turn down, yes. Chocolate or similar on the pillow, yes but I don't need my towels shaped into a swan everyday

Do you have clean towels every day at home?Do you change your bedclothes every two days?

No, but I'm not at home. I expect to receive what the hotel have charged me for.
That’s a bit odd. If you don’t need it doing or even particularly want it doing wasting a lot of resources washing practically clean bedding and towels is a bit daft no?A couple of hotels I’ve stayed in recently have offered a credit for not having the room cleaned. Seemed sensible and fair.
If I'm staying up to 3 nights, I'll just put the 'sod off' thing on the door. I can manage the same sheets and towels for that amount of time, irrespective of how much money I'm spending. Apart from anything else, I feel sorry for the housekeeping staff on minimum wage, and wish to give them less work.
I NEVER let them 'turn down the bed'... WTF is that all about?

Housekeeping only get paid for the rooms they clean. When you take a credit in lieu of house keeping the cleaner doesn't get paid. Everyone has to eat. A couple of hotels I’ve stayed in recently have offered a credit for not having the room cleaned. Seemed sensible and fair.
