It doesn't. If you think Starbucks does good coffee, then you're not a coffee drinker.
Imagine deriding someone for liking the wrong coffee. Nerd.
Blimey. That came out of nowhere, you miserable sod. It wasn't derision, it was advice.

Thinking about it, its been more than a few years since I've had a tea as well. Piss weak stuff for old ladies.
Love this attitude, you don't like something so deride it.rolleyes

If its weak then you have been making it wrong. Ever heard of Builders tea? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Builder%27s_tea
labourers are not old ladies

Never rung a garage to ask "how much" (even for shiz and giggles) when the price was POA.

I've never eaten a piece of fruit (well, one bite of an apple once and an orange segment). I like the flavours but not the texture. I'm not quite as bad with veg but potatoes, carrots and peas are pretty much all I eat assuming Mrs 111R doesn't chop others up into tiny pieces and mix in with Spag bol etc.

Always wished I was better at eating healthier foods, in fact just more foods

Fruit has very many different textures. Bananas are not like apples are not like strawberries are not like grapes and so on.

I have similar issue albeit I do eat some fruits however I cannot eat shell fish for the same reason, texture but I do love a nice fillet of fish but not the McD’s sort wink

I work in Asia so all my colleagues eat sushi and sashimi etc. I rarely if ever get invited out because they know I don’t/won’t eat it.

Coffee up until the age of 28.
I don’t know how I survived without it tbh.
I see your 28, and raise you 34. I actually disliked the smell of brewed coffee and couldn't fathom how many people enjoy it.

Then I was on honeymoon, and guy next to us had a latte of some kind which looked amazing and was topped with cream and various things. I thought I'd give it a twirl and ended up enjoying it. Now granted, there was enough sweetness added to that one that anyone could enjoy it, but it gradually got me into coffee and nowadays I have a couple of cups of coffee (plain) per day.

My eldest daughter only tried the bobbly liquorice allsorts this year. She's 28, and liked them as much as sucking a lemon. Myself and the youngest in disbelief that she'd never had one until we realised that we always get to these first.

Stilton.

Although I tried it to be fair and fully remember it being horrible. Anyway, got into wings and blue cheese sauce in america. Mmm so good. Then had stilton again here. Too strong, had a bit more, not to bad.. now I could eat a full wheel. Cant wait for the £10 stilton wheels to come in at morrisons. Gonna eat the lot. Mmmmm creamy stilton. Has to be colston basset one I think... definitely not lawn Clawson, stuffs not got the rich creaminess like the other.

If you have found a love of Stilton, that can only be a good thing.

Allow me to broaden your palette a Little with this,

It’s the cheese I always treat myself to with a very fine red.

Perfect with Walnuts too for the Original posts!

French cars.
I never really liked the styling and so rarely, excepting Alpine etc, gave them a second glance or consideration.
20 years ago I bought my wife a Peugeot 306 Pininfarina Cabriolet.
It was 11 months old with 175 miles on the clock.

I was aware that there was some damage to the roof material caused by a sharp edge on the body panel seal which happened each time you raised or lowered the roof.
I was working in Switzerland at the time and actually saw the same problem on their show car in Geneva.

As it was only 11 months old, I called Peugeot UK to make a warranty claim.
The 'Lady' who answered told me that I had a "down right cheek to try to claim with only three weeks left on the warranty".

That was my last French car.

I have to say though, there are some lovely designs on the road these last two or three years.
should've told her she was lucky it wasn't 3 minutes left on the 'warranty' - cheeky moo! If it's still in warranty and it goes wrong I'll claim for it

Coffee.

I drank my first cup of coffee about two months ago, after managing to avoid the stuff for almost 60 years.

We've just moved into a new house and our neighbours invited us in for "a coffee".

I assumed I'd have a choice of beverage. However, out came the caffetiere(sp?) thing and, with no tea based option offered, as a true Brit, I thanked our hosts and drank every single drop. Much to the amusement of Mrs B.

It was just as awful as I'd imagined. Never again!

fk that. Why didn't you refuse/decline//make an excuse like any normal person?

I tasted it once when I was a child. Never again. Tea likewise. Both utterly vile. If there was nothing else I'd go without, it wouldn't even enter my head to try it.

Kids don’t like tea or coffee. They’re for an adult palate. You might like them if you had them now.

V neck jumpers that have a shirt collar sewn into it to make it look like you're wearing a proper shirt with a jumper over the top.

Always liked that look, but had no idea such a thing existed, and hated wearing a shirt and a jumper, just too hot. About 5 years ago, age 52, the wife suggested I buy one with the faux collar. I thought the woman had gone bonkers. Was going to put it in Classic from the Mrs on here. So she took me to BHS and showed me it was a real thing.

Mind blown! Who knew?? Got about 20 of the things now!

Wasted 30 years wishing I could wear a shirt and jumper comfortably.
