The two go hand in hand. Elite level athletes expect to be paid handsomely, and those doing the paying expect something in return - no-one at that level of sport can expect to be able to simply turn up, do their thing then go home again afterwards without saying a word to anyone. Tennis, compared to a sport like football or the big US sports, gets a very easy ride from the press, especially at press conferences.
Hmm sort of, I think pre match pressers are fine - mostly.

Its the just walked off the court having lost and being asked if your 'weak' backhand let you down again. Must be incredibly frustrating to have your (known) faults relentlessly picked over after every loss.

I have never seen a post competition interview that told me anything I didn't already know/suspect. (Apart from the odd Joe Root conference where he appears to have taken part in an entirely different game of cricket to the one I was observing)
They could relentlessly pick over my faults all they like with me safe in the knowledge I’m probably earning more than the rest of the room put together. It’s a small consolation as i jet off to my next massive pay cheque.
I have some sympathy but she's not forced to enter Grand Slams for millions of pounds.

If 2 minutes every other day in front of a camera with some nobhead asking bone questions is the worst part of your job then your job isn't that bad.
I get both sides of this argument. It is a wonderful place to be - earning millions to play the game you love. It can't be great for your mental health to have everything you strive for and literally sweated buckets over decades to achieve, picked apart in your moment of defeat.
It was quite eye-opening listening to former World Boxing champion Tony Bellew talking about that sort of stuff on the Joe Marler Show podcast a few weeks back, saying how when you're winning you're mobbed with people, all with their hands out wanting a slice of the pie, yet the first time he lost, there was just him, his trainer, his wife and his dad in the changing room after, with the huge entourage of hangers on and press nowhere to be seen.

I think we can all imagine spending the millions, but not many of us can probably really imagine the stress that comes with it.

on the hull-rotterdam ferry we paid for the evening meal,
mate came back with two half filled plates, odd as he is a big eater,
he went back EIGHT times, so had the equivalent of 9 full meals, half of meal of each thing on offer,

then tried a couple of puddings

he is about 12 stone, must have a worm.
The Hull-Rotterdam buffet is amazing! Rib challenge is the best and as your mate demonstrated, always room for pudding..

To be fair that must be pretty impossible to complete.
I'm a big eater and I would struggle to even get close to finishing half of that tray
There's a guy I think he has a Youtube channel but I've seen him pop up on FB. Beard vs Food. He's a skinny looking thing but the amount he can eat is quite abnormal! He'd eat that lot no problem from what I've seen of him.

Anyone know their explosives?

What do you mean, not a fail....the earlier comments (and now deleted picture) suggest otherwise:

While the cannister may have caused the blow out they don't look like they've exploded to me!

Yep and he’s on the comments talking about how terrible this all is and some people are agreeing with him...

Garages have to prioritise work. How is it a surprise it isn’t ready 5 days before he asked for it? Baffled.

Given that presumably a reasonable amount of time and effort goes into scripting and posting something like that, is there some way in which the authors expect to make money out of it?
