True friends who have always been there for me, and always will be hopefully = 3. I speak to them weekly, but sadly don't see them as much as I would like.
I also have various 'mates' who I talk to regularly (probably daily in most cases) but either never see due to distance or circumstances, or have never actually met 'face to face'. Then there are work mates too, although they are getting less and less as time goes by (people move jobs, retire, etc).

I have a few close friends that I used to go to School with so thats 30 odd years we've been mates.
I've got mates that I've known since I started riding bikes so thats nearly 30 years I've known them.
I generally don't take to new people, I am quite happy with the friends I have.
I wouldn't say that people I haven't met through here were friends because I may take an instant dislike to them in the flesh.
I have met a couple from here that are decent folk BTW.

We've known one other since we were eggs, and I think of him as the brother I never had.
Outside of that, there are 1 or 2 people I'd trust to help move a body (as would I for them).

There is a certain amount of trust required to do a GF&W weekend. There are some serious knives floating around We've known one other since we were eggs, and I think of him as the brother I never had.

2 that I would give my bank details to and tell them to take whatever they need. Oh, and definitely the dead body bit both ways...may have already done this
