The old addage of ` buyer beware` doesnt mean anything so the trick is to advertise facts, don't over fill the advert with cr4p and just leave it like that.
If the seller is private, note a hidden trader, the car was in their name, then push back. Even if he knew there could of been an issue, of which I would keep quiet, then I wouldn't admit it. I've brought many 2rd cars and have brought some right lemons and some right deals too. Its my responsibility to research the type of car I want, check for those issues and for me to decide whether to buy it or not. The new buyer could of had the car RAC / AA checked, could of brought a friend to review, but didnt.

Any advance on 11?
There are three 'brought' and if we're being really picky, it's crap not cr4p (but I accept he spelled it that way on purpose, although I have no idea why people bother with that).Any advance on 11?

That wasn't even the entire post. The first part looks OK, but here's the last. sbk1972 said:
So, as long as the advert wasn't making an false claims, or misleading then don't sweat it. If it goes to small claims court then record all emails / telephone calls. Remember to reply / answer in a manner that some solicitor some where may be reading it so right it in a manner than doesn't incriminate yourself.
Not just the spelling! ![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)

For the price you pay for a part worn generally you could get a new budget part worn for not much more. The economics of it just doesn't work, especially if you then have to pay someone else to fit them.
I have people ask for part worms but I don't sell them, they attract the wrong type of customers

No doubt this one's been chewed over numerous times but it always gets my goat and today it got my goat big time because of its use by a poster I otherwise hugely admire: using the word 'bias' for 'biased'.
Bias is a noun, as in 'the referee showed a clear bias towards United'.
Biased is an adjective, as in 'he was a biased referee' or 'she is biased'.
Just because we don't enunciate the 'ed' at the end of biased doesn't mean it's not there.

Yeah I still don’t think Pepsi is council at all
Coke owns Christmas and council folk love it so much they go out in hoardes to see a truck and get a free can.
Supermarket brand cola is certainly not council - any self respecting councilista would never buy own brand anything.
