Hi,
Yes I know I am a fool for buying from Currys(...).
They are sending DPD to pick up my return on Monday..
.. but no information at all (despite chasing) on the returns address I need to put in the parcel(!)
Any help gratefully received.

They scan & create a label giving you a receipt. Yes I know I am a fool for buying from Currys(...).

Bingo - thank you all.
I have returned via DPD before and had an address but it sounds like this is “a thing” so thank you for your help!!
I appreciate PH is especially good but how can it be right that you can help me in a matter of minutes and these ‘devils’ (as my grandmother would have said) can’t help at all...?!
Let’s see if I get my £20 back next..(!)

I bought 2 video games beginning of December and only got one in the parcel. Awaiting my refund still, there's a live chat that seems to be the only thing open that I have contacted 4 times. Each time it's 2 to 3 days left etc. In no doubt it won't happen without escalation.
Won't order anything delivered from them again

Ring the main number on website and mash random buttons, I had to do it, once you speak to someone they can usually point you Won't order anything delivered from them again
I bougt an iphone from them via click and collect. Typically, the damn screen was faulty so organised a DPD collection. No comms from them other than an email confirming collection.
The dpd driver slapped a sticker on th ebox when he collected and a few days later had my money back.
Horrible comms, incredibly lax for a circa £1,000 purchase. Was very concerned until I saw the funds returned to my account.

Had an issue with Currys with a damaged fridge on delivery. Found it impossible to contact anyone about it, in the end my partner tweeted the CEO and got a resolution, not really what I wanted but in the end got so fed up with them. I'll never buy from them again.
Funny you should say That my daughter has had the same issue. Fridge door of a fridge freezer gouged. She cannot get a reply from anyone, hours and hours on phone being passed from pillar to post. They are deliberately obstructive too. Complete shower of s
We ordered a double oven which we paid for curry’s to install. Once they installed they found it didn’t work so they swapped it back to the old one. At some point in the process they managed to take some chunks out of our fairly new kitchen. No hint of any sort of apology. I’ve had to spend about 5 hours on the phone just trying to get them to replace the broken oven and take a report on the damage from the first visit. Utter pain in the arse and massively unhelpful, would avoid using them again in the future
As a retailer of IT stuff, it speaks volumes that they do not have a customer service email address. You either have to hang on the phone for hours or go to the store, several times, to get a resolution.
I managed to get a refund for my defective item last year (after they had it back for repair and returned it in its unchanged broken state) and then bought a similar (but working) item from John Lewis.

So... the DPD process was as described by others above: the driver had a label which should (!) mean it gets to where it’s supposed to go (...!).
I have every expectation this is not the end if it (!).
Even the effort if finding out any sort if info means it’s just nit worth going with them over JLP even in instances where they cannot be as competitive. Just not worth the hassle. Glad my item was only relatively inexpensive as it must be a nightmare if they’ve got hundreds/thousands of your money...
