City Drinks meets Birthday Bash - DDs 26 March 09

Ok. Attendance at recent City Drinks meets has been dropping faster than the Lloyd's Board's bonus scheme, so I thought it'd be a good idea to link the cyclical drink to a special occasion each month.

So this month - Thursday 26th March - City Drinks is proud to co-host MrWill's birthday bash!

Yup, that's right, everyone's favourite PH techie will be notching up another year and it's only fitting that we show our appreciation in the time-honoured way.

For those of you who don't know him, using the power of technology (he'll be sooo proud of me!), I have managed to track down a web pic of him.





This promises to be quite a 'do'; in fact all of these people have yet to come up with an excuse to not attend:

Never been before? Want to know what it's all about?

Well, it's a pure social; no-one brings a car! Once inside, it's all of the banter you love to engage in with loads of familiar names.
New friendships made; old friendships ruined. Er.... oh... anyway...

And there's no 'moderation'. Have you ever typed a reply to a thread and are just about to press 'Submit' when you reread your message and decide to press 'Back' instead? Maybe you thought it might be too inappropriate in some way? Well for one night a month, you can press a verbal 'Submit' button, safe in the knowledge that WGOTSOT (usually).


I think it would be fair to say: Miss it; miss out.
