Lost a filling, dentists!

I've just realised that at some point today I've lost a filling from a top molar. Didn't feel anything crunch, just noticed it so I have no idea when it came out.
So far the tooth feels fine, not aching or sensitive and when probing it with my tongue (very gently!) I can't feel where any part of the tooth has been taken with it.
Going to phone my dentist tomorrow and hope they can fit me in on Monday, but I'm VERY nervous with dental work especially fillings so I just want to know whether it'll simply be cleaned and refilled without a drill or if they're going to need to expand it a bit and then refill it? FWIW it's only the back half of the tooth, the front half of it is fine as far as I can tell!
