P90x training DVDs....

I was in USA recently and this was all over the TV, along with "Insanity" and "Turbofire!" But anyone heard of or tried this P90x regime? Its a Tony Horton intensive 90 day program and some internet sources says it really does work. But I am sceptical. It looks dead hard, but fancy having a go at it if it will help me shed some pounds and trim up.

Like the idea that you dont need much stuff to do it, and I can take the dvds with me when I travel away with work to do in hotel rooms! Most of it seems to be just excercises without equipment.

So any ideas?
