Lotus Evora + Bike
Discussion
I am sure seeing the Topic title has probably caused a deep sigh after the Elise + bike rack topics of old but hopefully not.
For the past few years I have been driving/loving my Elise S2 whilst also pursuing my passion for cycling. Despite the curious looks at various events I have managed to fit a complete racing bike inside the Elise with the roof still on (significant dis-assembly required and passanger side fully taken up).
I am hoping to continue combining Lotus and bikes in the future in an Evora but the combination is essential. I was wondering if you were able to give your thoughts on whether you would be able to fit a bike forks/frame in the rear of an Evora +2 or 2+2 (possibly with seat post?)
I know that a certain German company has hard top bike rack mounts on their hard top models but I doubt this is an option on an Evora.
Your thoughts / comments will be appreciated before I get some funny looks turnign up at a local dealer with a bike in my hand to test....
(Also for the record I am not really interested in running 2 cars)
Thanks.
