I thought the Suarez 'racist' thing was a no-go area on this thread now?
That link, whilst starting off for a paragraph or two about John Terry, then descends for the next 11 paragraphs into really being about the Luis Suarez affair and the press treatment of it.
So, with you having brought it back up, can we all talk about it or is only OK if LFC fans do?
Oh and...You appreciate the writer says in that article "I am not a disinterested observer, having supported Liverpool for more than 40 years."

If anyone wants to talk about anything it's up to them, isn't it? Did you and your clique decide something?

I'm sure I remember a mod's threat that the 'Suarez issue' was now dead and bringing it up again would be mean a ban. I may be wrong but thats why I was surprised at your post. I don't have a clique UF, cliques are defined by there propensity to exclude people...thats a trait only displayed on the LFC threads chap.im said:

I don't agree.hornetrider said:
Firstly, thanks to UF for providing the link. I didn't comment on it because... well you know. Also because of the 'Liverpool supporter for 40 years' bit ![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)
I'm not looking to re-open the debate
![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
Given the wording of my post with the link does it look like I wanted to get the thing rolling again?![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)

I will not say what others can talk about or not, it's up to the user imo.
Had im not jumped on it like a rabid dog.... (perhaps I should have known better and not bothered)

all this talk about bad tackles, its even gone so far that people are being sent off for what 'could have been' a bad tackle etc, its gone to the dogs, and trying to watch a game these days without getting annoyed is very very difficult, there is a free kick every few seconds !!

And I can't beleive I'm gonna say this but "Well done HR"' you at least had the good sense not to re-ignite this subject that causes so much controversy.

Not another liverpool fan, not me. You, like a radib dog.
HR read it and moved on, why didn't you?

21 post got made till you turned up and quoted my post, all by liverpool fans, some by me and yet none had started this up again. You did it im.
I can't believe I'm arguing this!!! YOU brought it up...there have been 126 posts on this shiny new thread with not one reference to the Suarez thing.
No discreet links, spoilers or anything at all, f

Yes thats you, a Liverpool fan and the first to do it. I had deliberately let-sleeping-dogs-lie.
Lets move on until something new surrounding this issue surfaces eh? I'm trying to stop this thread turning to s

forgot to say that our performance was even better when you take into consideration that we played 70mins without an out and out defensive midfielder.
That's because for a large part of the second half we played with 6 defenders. CharlieHotel said:

You were glad when Enrique came on even though he was rubbish when he did? I agree that we had to chop Downing though, he was playing as if there was something on his mind...
Enrique done alot for us defensively and getting the ball away from the box too. Something that Downing can't do and at that time nobody was doing. It's not that Enrique was crap when he came on but that the team was backs against the wall so we can't expect an amazing performance from him in those circumstances
Talking of fullbacks, I thought Clichy was superb and almost completely nullified Bellamy.
I thought Bellamy was quiet last night but I guess there was a very strong discipline envoked last night he hardly left the touchline all game.
with regards to Johnson's tackle one thing I have learned about TV coverage is the angle at which we view the game can be so different to the angle from the opposite side and what looks horrendous from one side looks innocent enough from the other.I think the Refs get a lot of stick rightly in some cases but in others they say it the way they see it.How much technology do we want??.
