Absolutely unbelievable achievement by ................. and of course the fans!
Are these the same fans that are so wonderful that they have to be segregated from the opposition fans to stop them fighting each other?

Hmm?

Mad Monk, who do you support and what's your agenda?

Your two posts on this page come across as very petty I'm afraid.

Leicester win PL and shock the football world but you choose to snipe about their fans and pull up a poster for poor grammar.

Only on PH.

A little bit of the romance of football has just been restored.
^This.

And proof you don't need to spend squillions on buying superstar players to win the EPL.

A watershed moment indeed, congrats to all at Leicester City. smile

Congratulations for winning the Premier League title, and in doing so, showing the big 4 or so teams that spending a over a billion pounds does not a title make....

You have restored my faith in football.

To be totally honest, worrying about and trying to keep the grammar police happy on here doesn't appear on my to do list at any point. So kindly fk off and bore everyone somewhere else smile

Amazing!! Can't believe it still.

This morning I was thinking, in August, if you looked at Villa's squad and Leicester's squad who would you have honestly said would finish higher in the league? For me I would have said Villa. It is absolutely unbelievable what they achieved against all the odds. All Leciester fans will remember this for as long as they live, and I can only relate this to when Solskjaer and Sheringham won the CL for United in stoppage time (I'm a United fan).

Quite how Wes Morgan is a Premier League winning captain I'll never get over that. I remember watching Leicester last season and thinking Mahrez was half decent but the rest of the squad, Vardy included were plain awful. Hats off and what an amazing turn around.

Leicester have just torn up everything everyone ever says about winning the league in the modern game and shown us all anything is possible!

Well done Leicester - as a Spurs fan I'd have love for us to keep things going until the last weekend but obviously your lads kept pulling out results when you needed to.
So Champions League win next year?

It might be hard for Man U & Liverpool etc fans to understand this, but when you support a 'smaller' club, there is always a ceiling to what seems possible; top six, a league cup maybe, the occasional win against Man U & Liverpool.
A couple of years of mid table & then the manager goes to a 'bigger' club. and the best players go for 'big' money to 'big' clubs.
I watched this happen to Martin O'neills Leicester City in 2000. And thought "what's the point"?

This is the point.

This is what it's all about.

Great to see teamwork & desire winning the league, not £££
Quite agree - but you will still get the nay-sayers even though only losing 3 (so far) all season is no fluke

Great achievement.
Most decent manager in the premier league.
(Man Utd fan).
I always thought he was very badly treated by Chelsea - didn't do that much wrong and still got the boot.

The only downside now is I can see "The Film ..."

Sylvester Stallone is Claudio Ranieri, Jason Statham is Jamie Vardy - a real life true story of how a sporting underdog achieved greatness against adversity, terrorist threats (It's Hollywood) and an espionage conspiracy (It's Hollywood)

As a Liverpool fan I begin every season thinking there is always a ceiling to what seems possible - namely winning the league or consistently getting into CL, or buying a Suarez and keeping him

I don't really support any football club. Possibly Brentford or Fulham a little bit. My Dad took me to Brentford when I was a nipper. Why Fulham? well, various people I know support Fulham, but to be honest no better reason than that.

The 'thing' about fans (from any club, not just Leicester) being so wonderful leaves me stone cold. Football supporters have had a history of poor behaviour for several decades and if people weren't so blinkered they would see that poor behaviour had at least a part in the disaster at Hillsborough.

Internet discussion forums are supposed to, well, discuss.

Other than watching England on TV when they're playing, I'm not in any way a football fan but I am genuinely pleased for Leicester. A great result and congratulations to the players, fans and Mr Ranieri.

heartfelt congratulations to everyone involved a terrific achievement and over the season the best team wins, i don't think you have quite played the best football but you have been the best team.

as for key moments for the two games against spurs. The one you won meant you beat the team closest to you which you have to do in any season - beating those around you is critical - what is you record against the top four / five?

and losing in the cup meant you could focus and it gave spurs extra games. those two game were the pivotal ones for me.

as for next season well you will have some extra games to play, its new territory and i expect you will approach it with the same gusto as you have this season. you will need to add a few players but they will have to adapt to your philosophy of hard work and team ethics no place for your superstar egos...

well done again, enjoy it you deserve it.
