We still load approx 4 or 5 vehicles a week heading back and forth between the UK and varios locations in Turkey - automotive parts - but most of the transport is provided by Turkish hauliers.

those turkish lads know their onions smile
always seem to be set up for every eventuality, and if your stuck somewhere of a weekend, and theres a few turks there, they will often make you a brew, or offer you dinner that they have cooked up! good bunch in my eyes.

Would agree on that - we had three turn up one Friday evening - they weren't due to load until the following Monday / Tuesday.

When I left that evening they'd got a patio table set up in the back of one of the wagons and were having what looking like some sort of party, food, few drinks the lot.

Very well prepared.

oh yeah, had many a good night of food and drink with them.
i like the way they open up their trailer boxes, and its like a mini food store in there.
like you say, patio chairs, tables the lot. the scouts must be big in turkey.
