My daily drivers are newish Volvos with iShift.. They're a mix of 10L 450's and 13L 460's.

As good as the iShift is, best 'box I've used tbh. Changing up gear uphill causes a huge loss of momentum and it really had to dig deep to pull the next gear.

Same as changing down from top to 11/10...

Can't help but think that using DSG systems would have huge increases in MPG. Which is pretty much the biggest selling point of a fleet truck these days.

Wonder if they're currently in development? Surely only have to be a matter of time?

P mode still works. Only thing they do is set the limiters to 83kms.

I'm not particually on about the Volvos, just using them as an example of the best automated gearbox around.. But still, a dsg system must be so much more efficient.
