Welcome Nick! We love a good challenge on PH, so it's definitely worth posting your old car photos in the Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes forum to see if anyone can help identify them.
Welcome! There's certainly a lot to take it. We don't have a forum specifically for saying hello, but why not start your own Readers' Cars thread to introduce yourself and your car(s)?
Welcome all! You can start a Readers' Cars thread over here to start your journey on PH and tell us all about your cars https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&...

Hi all, I’ve recently purchased a Golf MK7 1.6TDI which has 69K miles on it. I’ve had the vehicle for 6 to 7 weeks. Over the last few weeks all of a sudden the car started blowing cold air even when the vents were turned to high heat. The car is still under warranty and I have gave it back to whom I purchased the vehicle from. Now they’ve changed the water pump, thermostat sensors they’ve had it flushed and added fresh coolant. They’ve also changed the cabin filter. The car runs warm when stood still or at low speeds, however as soon as I put my foot down to pick up speed it starts blowing out cold air?? It’s really becoming a pain in the back side as I’m paying for a car which hasn’t even been drove for the duration which I’ve had it. Can anyone please help me or give me any advice. It would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Welcome to PH! Our Engine & Drivetrain forum is probably the best place to get some advice on this one https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&...Lammy38 said:

Greetings! I found my 2003 996 4S on Pistonheads a couple of years ago but only recently felt the urge to dive into forums. Mainly because two warning lights (ABS & PSM) which came on and off from January this year (after discs and pads were replaced) are now permanently on - although without any obvious effect on performance except that there is no feedback from the brake pedal if I try an emergency stop. Diagnostics in October didn’t find anything but now point to the ABS pressure sensor. Local mechanic is struggling to source one but thinks it might be the same as that used by AUDI/VW which he can probably source. Porsche haven’t been forthcoming & told him to replace the ABS unit which will cost a fortune if it’s a Porsche exclusive part from Bosch. Has anyone else had this problem? Thx in advance.
Welcome to PH! I'd recommend posting in our 911 forum for advice on this here https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&...Russ_T_Nuts said:
Hi,
I think I've got an issue with the headlights on my Seat Alhambra (VW Sharan with a Seat badge on it basically) and I wanted to post about it to get some advice if possible, but I couldn't see a relevant section for it. Could you please point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

11Hi I need to get advert alerts on a particular car model - Porsche 911 (991 - TARGA) - I've emailed Piston Heads but have not had a response, can anyone help please? THX
Welcome to PH! Once you've performed a search, there's a 'save this search' button in the search navigation. This will create a saved search and email alerts are daily by default. You can change the frequency on your saved search page here under the Buy menu https://www.pistonheads.com/account/savedsearches
We have a keywords field where I've added 'targa' here for this example https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/search?keywords=ta...

Hello Ben. I and my late husband used to go to the Sunday lunchtime pub meets with likeminded TVR owners. So, you’re my first port of call with the query I have.
I’ve had my late husband’s Chimera 4.0 convertible in the garage for over 20 years. It’s also had a custom made TVR cover over it as well. Immaculate condition and only 4270 miles on the clock.
Need your advice please. I know a very good mechanic who could get it started after charging the battery etc. Would it be best to do that and he then drives it to his workshop or have it transported to his workshop for a service and MOT?
If the mechanic was to drive it to his premises it would have to be taxed and insured etc but it obviously hasn’t got a valid MOT. So, would the transporter option be the best thing to do?
Trying to cover all my queries here. Who would you recommend please for insurance?
Re selling the car - I assume this site would be the best place to advertise it?
Thank you for your patience in reading my rather long post. And thank you in advance for any helpful info/tips that you think I would find useful.
If the car has been sat for a long time, it would likely be best to get it transported to the garage . And absolutely PH is the best place to sell a TVR in our classifieds. Depending on where you live I'm sure there would be a number of local PH dealers that would sell the car for you on a sale or return basis if you don't want the hassle of doing it yourself.
Welcome! A good place to start is by creating your own thread in our Readers' Cars forum here https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&...

I suggest you start a new topic in the car buying forum:
https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&...
Set out what you are looking for in a vehicle to replace the Defender and I am sure you will get plenty of suggestions.

Hi. Any advise on finding g a decent reasonably priced body shop in and around the west London area? Hayes, Heathrow or Uxbridge areas. Thank you.
You could post in the London regional forum to see if any locals have advice for you. If you don't mind travelling a bit and getting the train back into London, I use and thoroughly recommend Edenbridge Accident Repair Centre. Ask for Sam and say Ben from PistonHeads referred you.mattleeuk said:
