Nope - need to do some unexpected work miles and that doesn't agree with the mileage limit on my PCP.
So rather than pay a penalty / give the car a haircut, I'm shedding it up
Good work, I've just found your thread. £250? That is a real shed - (do you have any pics? The one in your thread doesn't work), I thought I was doing well with my £800 306 DT! I know it sounds crazy, but I love it so much I sold my Mk2 MX5 this week.. driving around in a car worth about the same as the weekly take home is so damn refreshing. So rather than pay a penalty / give the car a haircut, I'm shedding it up
The only thing I'd like now that it is an only car is a bit more go (the DT is ok, good shove but gets quite breathless quickly) and a nicer sounding engine - hence the thought that the 306 GTi6 would make a bargain performance shed.
I'll have pics later - can't access photobucket at work to link to it here
Paintwork is wrecked but mechanically it's sound (apart from a gear linkage rod which needs replacing) - decent tyres, year old exhaust/brakes, etc
MOT Oct, Tax Aug.
76k miles with next to no service history (I have last year's MOT/brake/exhaust invoices, there's 2 random stamps in the book, that's it)
A mate has offered to help me change the oil if I buy a filter
