Sorry, my fault, I was commenting on my wife's FN2 compared to the standard Civic - 300bhp/tonne claimed that the standard car and the VTR had very similar feeling suspension, whereas James and I were just agreeing that it's very different!
Oh, sorry! I loved the FN2, I borrowed one recently, the only issue was the ride on the 19" alloys, factory fit option - the roads here in Aberdeen are crap and it did get quite uncomfortable at times.

The EP3 doesn't ride that badly at all. It's firm, certainly, but but not to the point of being uncomfortable.

I tend to average about 31-32mpg on my commute, but can vary between 28 and 36 mpg depending on whether my brain is switched to hoon or economy mode. The previous owner kept a record of every single fill up and managed a peak of 42mpg across one tank, though he did say that was a long trip stuck in the inside lane at HGV speeds, just to see how far he could eek a tank full out.

My EP3 has cost me £150 for a service and MOT this year.

106000 mile 05 Plate Special edition thingy.

Nothing else at all.

Great to drive, feels like brand new still. Love it biggrin
Great stuff. I gather the engine needs to be worked hard. What sort of MPG are you seeing?

Are the xenons essential?
The standard lights arn't bad but I have actually just bought some Upgraded bulbs to fit (Not xenons) and I'm going to see how I get on with them.

Engine isn't as bad as people make out, I tend to only use Vtec for overtaking as below 6k it's got more than enough power for making progress.

The Girlfriend can get up to 40mpg out of it, I'm averaging about 30 when I'm driving.
