The real lesson here is dont buy an old french car, not jumping on the bandwagon speaking from experience more trouble than they are worth, (owned a Renault 5 and 2 clios that fell to bits). I would sooner have a MK2 golf gti. My fiancee's 206 is a complete money pit also that needs money thrown at it constantly to keep it running, my old Golf and rents diesel beetle hasnt needed a thing!
