Motability early hand back.

Has anyone ever handed a car back early on motability?
We have had it almost one year, but are not enjoying the scheme.
They motability people are very nice, and so is the car, but it's not working out for us.
We clean and polish it more than any car we have ever had, almost to the point of obsession, we won't take the dog in it, and we are afraid to get it dirty with our shooting, archery, and fishing gear.
We are also afraid of damaging it when putting the wife's mobility scooter in it.
We want to go back to a shed 4x4, but don't know how to go about handing back, the motability website seems scarce on info about this.
