VW Golf to Festia ST - Am I mad?

I too get 38mpg average, and I drive quite enthusiastically a lot of the time. I could quite easily get 22mpg on a short drive if I reset the trip computer but I reckon I would have to be going some.
Longer term you would better that massively (unless you are a total hooligan haha) so I wouldn’t worry about that.
