Bought clocked car from Dealer

This is the problem, I saw a car I liked, but the dealer (large) said they wouldn't take it.

The problem you originally stated of being an issue when you sell it will always be yiur problem

The trade won't touch it. Even if you got a letter signed by the King of England stating it was a mistake, its just too much potential headache and admin to contemplate., especially on a car that's available in abundance.

You can either punt it on via ebay or similar and keep quiet hoping someone will just buy it, or trade it in at the dealer you bought it from therefore making them put their money where their mouth is. And that's very unlikely to say the least
