OP sneaks back into the room after buying a coupe.......

OP has even posted a picture of said coupe on PH in the JAAAAG forum!

It will not take my mountain bike, it would take my road bikes.

ALOT of man justification has gone on here, I hope you all will be kind. It has come down to trying to manage too many conflicting needs/restrictions into one decision and then splitting all those needs out.

Basically I live in a too crowded SE area of the UK where chilling, riding a bike and avoiding stressed roads and people is impossible.

Personal situations have changed and a much quieter location a little way north has become available to me where I can keep a bike and stay/visit. I can keep a second bike there and not worry about having to carry it there. It is a one and a half hour drive away. Keeping a bike there means I don't have the restriction of buying a car to manage the bike. At the same time I wanted a second car/coupe.

So I bought a frivolous coupe in the best PH fashion to carry me to my bicycle.

I am aware that this all first world problems, appreciate all the input given and dearly hope that overall that the best PHing traditions have been upheld here.

It's a 2012 XK, FSH 22K car, have owned it two weeks now and it is "simply wonderful".

It will carry me in space, grace and comfort to my second bicycle to be ridden on quieter roads and tracks far from the maddening crowd.

First world problems, as the recently and great Michael Gambon said, "Welcome to the layer cake" we all try to take less st and more cake.

Please be kind.
